Coming and Going

Arrive on Time

Mass begins promptly at 7:00 pm. Servers and readers should arrive by 6:45 pm. Our regular meeting begins in the Parish Hall directly after the Mass, usually 7:30 pm.

Arriving Late

Enter quietly, listen to what’s going on, and join as best you can in the activity that is going on at the time of your arrival. Don’t draw attention to yourself. There is no need to explain the reason that you are late, unless it involves an emergency situation for which you require extra help.

Leaving Early

If you need to leave early, simply let one of the adult leaders know that you are going. If you have a medical emergency, or you are simply not feeling well, ask one of the leaders to contact your parents to come and get you.

Get Home Safely

As far as possible, we aim to finish by 9:00 pm promptly. Please let your ride know to be here at around that time.

I don’t know who’s supposed to pick me up: Phone home at the end of the meeting and find out.

My ride is late and my friend’s Mom offered to drive me: Phone home and ask permission to go with them. DO NOT EVER get into someone else’s car without your parents’ or guardian’s permission.  In addition, let the Youth Leader know who you are going with, if it’s not the person who was originally supposed to come for you.

I phoned home, and I even tried everyone’s cell phones, but no one answered: Tell the Youth Leader. She will stay with you until someone comes to get you. DO NOT leave the Church by yourself after dark if you don't live within walking distance of the Church, and do not accept a ride from someone else until you have gotten permission from your parent or guardian to do this, and you have told them what time you expect to arrive home.
