Food and Personal Items

Meals and snacks are served from a designated snack table. Take your food and drink, and move out of the way so that others can get theirs. No one should be in the kitchen or behind the table except for those who are serving the meal or snack. Please be patient and wait your turn. There is enough for everyone. Please allow those who are smaller to go first, since sometimes it's hard for them to try to get past all the tall, big people, and then they miss out.

When everyone who wants to has had a chance to get their serving of snack, if there is extra, you may have seconds. Take what you can eat and no more; please don't be wasteful.

No food or drink should ever be brought into the worshiping area of the Church – if you bring something with you from home or elsewhere, take it downstairs and put it on the snack table or in the kitchen before going into the Church. During the meeting, either put it away in the fridge, or be prepared to share – don’t have it by yourself in front of others.

If you bring something special from home - a jacket, a hat, a game, or other personal item, please keep track of it. If you don't want others to mess with it, keep it on your person. If someone tries to take it from you, either as a joke or actually trying to steal it, mention it straight away to a volunteer. Also, if you notice that the item has become lost, mention it straight away to any adult.

Lost items that are found after everyone has left the building will be put in the lost and found. The lost and found is cleaned out about once every six months or so, so please come and retreive your item as soon as someone lets you know it's been found.
